that was the day I woke up.
The sunset falls like the final rhyme of a verse,
brushing over the hills before resting on North Gate.
Island sea breeze accompanies the moon lute,
carrying a hint of salt — this is the rhythm of Hengchun.
Humming an old southern folk tune,
spring is sheltered here in quiet warmth.
Today, I became Hengchun.
